Our family was traveling from GA to FL and had to divert to this hospital for an traumatic emergency stop. The nursing, respiratory, and physician team in the ER and ICU were absolutely amazing. Everyone we interacted with was so so nice, helpful, and took great care of our family. Would highly recommend their care to anyone who may need the help.
They do ok with treatment but not at informing you on what's happening or what the result was. It's extremely hard to get a doctor in the room more than 2 minutes to ask them anything even when you do they never seem to know anything. How they can function as doctors like that idk. This seems worst in the er but is like this in the whole hospital I had to come back just a few days later and this trip has been much worse than any other to the hospital. We arrived at approximately 9:15 PM due to my mother experiencing extremely high blood pressure, a low heart rate in the 60s, and significant nausea. After checking in, we paid a $250 copay and were seen briefly for initial assessments including an EKG and bloodwork. This the most inconsiderate hospital EVER!! The nurses are snobby and shows no sympathy for their patients. When I called and tried to get an update on my mom, they would put me on hold and never come back to the phone. I held on for over 30 mins, just for her nurse to hang up on me. I will never send my mom or my family back her. She sat in the ER hallways for 2 days and they didn't even feed her. I had to bring her food. I'll never send my mom back there.
