Update 8/14/25: Spoke with ECC on 8/12/25. Said they sent me 3 invoices and provided dates. Rep escalated my request to bring the debt back to ECC from DiRecManagement as I never got any of those invoices. Told me I would hear back in 24-48 hours. That conversation went quite well. Well, I just got my call back. Stated they did everything right on their side, so they wouldn't be pulling the debt back. This woman said they sent *2* invoices. This company deserves to be shut down for the amount of times they send hardworking people who pay bills on time to collections. We can’t pay bills we don’t get. And we don’t get a say about paying you because you have snuck your little claws in to all the the metro medical. On top of that your phone staff, who are super polite by the way and don’t deserve to be involved with a company like yours, are just flat out lying to people. Zero stars. Like so many of you, I received a bill from collections for a debt I didn't know existed. Tried to call, and it says they're closed. No business hours. It's so frustrating!!
Have had great experiences with physicians but BILLING DEPARTMENT IS HORRIBLE. They incorrectly processed our insurance and refuse to listen or reprocess correctly. Customer service representative just kept talking over me.
I cannot believe the timeframe to return $$ to the customer. The insurance company paid Emergency Care & it will take Emergency Care Consultants 6-8 weeks to return the $ to customer. We only paid as we kept getting a bill. Will never pay in advance of getting claim resolved.
