Emerge Treatment Center is one of the most amazing recovery centers I have been to, and I have been to many since a young age. TLDR: not a good fit for neurodivergent people, especially with RSD. They are not able to help you regulate your RSD or build skills to tolerate “feedback.” I am no longer in this program because the group processing environment did not feel emotionally safe for me and I was unable to get a different therapist after weeks of requesting a change. If you are neurodivergent, have any trauma, RSD, or if you just don't like being attacked and treated like you're the problem if you ask for help, respectfully in my opinion, Emerge is not the best program for you. I'm not naming names but my partner was bullied for 3 weeks at this treatment center by one patient who didn't like her and just wanted her out. Great program run by truly caring professionals
This place saved me. Great place for people who feel alone or need to work through trauma. They helped me so much. We worked through a lot of stuff over time and they helped me get to a point of healing. Highly recommend!
