**Edited to include updated information following Emerald’s response June 2025 Jim eventually came by with a Sherwin-Williams rep (only after this review was posted), who explained what might be causing the paint issue. Jim wouldn’t make eye contact with me, only spoke to my husband, and promised to drop off roofing for our shed to make up for the inconvenience—but never did. Very happy to meet Jim Oakley and have Emerald State replaced our roof. They are Certainteed certified shinglemaster, which is the type of roof in my neighborhood (required by HOA). From our first meeting, we found Jim to be super personable, experienced and honest roofer. It is like interacting with a good friend. His quote was very reasonable as we had 4 other quotes.
