I can tell you since the ownership has changed it has improved a great deal. The apartments are getting remodeled slowly, but surely. No they're not top of the line, but nice. I had a family member live here for years when it was Emerald Sands and it was drug infested, trashy, and the Sheriff's department was there almost nightly. The prices have gone up, but they are no higher than any other place. I just moved into a 1/1 and I'm pleased with the remodel. There are still minor blemishes which is to be expected. I've been here for ten years and any problem I've ever had in my Apt. has always been addressed right away.
Would give absolutely zero stars if possible. Be careful if you choose to rent here and make sure your lease lines up with exactly what you were told. People here are being treated unfairly and lied to. My boyfriend and I have been living here almost a year and we were told last July that power was included with our rent. Turns out that it only includes water garbage and sewage. We wanted a unit with all utilities included meaning water power garbage and sewage all together. This apartment complex is the worst you could ever choose. You would be dealing with everything from ceiling leaks, roaches, mold issues, rotating property managers, water shutting off w/ no notice. They do not care about your wellbeing here. I could write a book about everything I’ve gone through for the past two years.
