It’s has not been easy for us to to have a loved family member cared for outside the home . Dad lived at Emerald for 2.5 years and if it hadn’t been for the great attention and care of nurses like Manu, Maureen, Ku and Jo it would have been even harder. There were other great caregivers and nurses but these folks went above and beyond on several occasions. Thanks to all of you for caring for our dad. We appreciate it.
We had looked at many care homes and our options for our our stepfather. Emerald Place was mentioned to us by another home as a possibility. We are grateful for that recommendation as it has been a truly great experience for our family. Everyone there deserves the highest praise for their caring and professionalism. My father stayed at Emerald for several years before transitioning to a facility better suited for his needs. He had a foley catheter which was new for the staff. It took awhile, but they worked with us to make sure it was monitored. Over all, the staff are friendly and helpful. Of particular note: the nurses Manu, Maureen and Kuo.
