Emerald place was wonderful to my father. We moved him there after 3 years of home health hospice. It was a difficult transition for my mother who was his primary caregiver. Sue was so kind and accommodating to her. She understood this was a big move for us also. She helped make the move so much easier for the entire family. Emerald Place is great. The facility is comfortable and clean. Emerald Place focuses specifically on memory care residents and their needs. They have activities to keep residents engaged and staff tailor activities to individuals skill levels so no one is left out. (They keep the residents busy and having a good time- ask to see the schedule.) All the residents are kept clean and are put together. The food is tasty- (I tried several meals). My mom has been here for about 2 months now. I like how clean and bright this place is. They keep up with the maintenance and place looks pristine. The nurses, caregivers, and staff here are all full-time regulars. All have good attitudes, friendly, and caring. No agencies! I do regularly come in to visit and to get updates on my Mom. My mom has been at Emerald for 2 years now, best decision we made! After several years of daycare and caregivers we made the difficult decision to move her to Emerald. I love the physical part of the facility spacious and -Extra clean-thanks Hector! And no one is better at endless laundry then Cynthia. I'm impressed with the enrichment activities led by Latisha and Jaime-it's great to see the residents AND staff engaged in the activities together. Honestly my mom feels so at home here-

I visited Emerald Place and had a tour. Such a very nice place, Noreen, the Sales Director, was very thorough in discussing the services they provide for people with dementia. Their facility is very clean and the common areas where residents can gather are really spacious. They also have this technology to monitor safety of their residents.
