HOMELESS PROBLEM - four or five homeless people routinely roam the complex and go through the dumpsters. My husband and I were threatened several times when trying to throw out our trash. Tried to report it but was directly to an AI assistant that did nothing! MG Properties is singlehandedly running this complex into the ground. RUDE STAFF. The previous management was friendly and was available to meet residents' needs. Now I cannot even reach them by phone, it goes to an automated message all the time. I complained about their rude behavior, and now I get a notice saying I make noise when I live on the ground floor with NO TV but just two cats. Their billing for utilities is something else, they say, it's a 45-day period, but they make me pay every 30 days. I just wanted to give a shout-out to the maintenance team (John and Martin) at Emerald Place Apartments. John goes above and beyond and is a pleasure to deal with. I always know my service requests are done correctly and efficiently the first time.
Avoid if You Can – Overrated and Overpriced This place is not worth the money. The apartments are old and outdated, with appliances that look like they’re straight out of the Stone Age. The grounds are poorly maintained, and it’s obvious that many residents don’t bother cleaning up after their dogs. It’s frustrating and unsanitary. We have been here for 9 years. In the past 2 months we have seen this place fall apart. MG Properties has destroyed what was a great place to live. The property manager was rude and deceitful. We have never had a problem dropping off our rent check and yet instead of accepting they misplaced it (which they had it) he decided to accuse me of not dropping it off.
