As of September 1st this property is no longer a timeshare/condo hotel. Units have been sold (some for sale), are now privately owned and some can only be rented short-term or long-term through owners or via Airbnb, Vrbo. There is no longer an office. The property is getting upgraded...the grounds have been cleaned up, there are new roofs/gutters, new fences and more improvements on the way for the private owners of Emerald Isle.

This place was really nice and worth the cost probably a couple of years ago. The pool was nice, and overall it was still very clean (except for the TONS of goose poop all over the penisula - this made the beach and tennis/basketball court area with mini-golf and a picnic pavilion pretty much unusable.) And the 2 staff people we were able to catch in the 2 hrs/day office hours were nice, but they could only do so much.
