We stayed here over the Thanksgiving weekend in an RV Spot and my in laws stayed in a Villa. The villa was very nice and roomy. Clean and comfortable as well. A little work on the water pressure for the shower would be great but it was manageable. We made our RV reservations a year ahead of time for this trip. We travel with friends and plan ahead so we get the spots we like. Paid the deposit and chose our “Super Platinum” spot last November. This is my first and last time staying here. Just checked in today. The spaces are wet from the amount of watering they do. It is so loud. The train is loud. You are on top of other campers. There are no picnic tables. Its pretty but so loud.

Staff are always friendly and grounds are generally kept clean. Exception was finding the ficus trees had dropped lots of leaves and berries on the ground around the pool and jacuzzi. This caused the pool and Jacuzzi to have some leaves/berries in the water in both or picked up by guests shoes/feet and deposited in the water.

This review is for the Emerald Desert Café which is open to the public on Fridays and Saturdays: their new 2025-26 menu is off the hook. Love the vegan empanadas. The soup of the day today was vegetarian gazpacho - yum. The smash burger was very tasty but oh, the meatballs - couldn't get enough of 'em. Congrats, chef! Kara Lukasik was an awesome host and made our dining a true pleasure. Great weather today to sit outside and enjoy the new menu items with a glass of iced tea. Looking forward to coming back again.
