Check *recent* reviews before choosing this office. We were drawn there because of, positive ones but our experience was dissimilar to them. And at further glance, recent ones exhibited frustrations we experienced with receptionist. This office recently took over the Garrisonville location, which may explain the new staff and issues. The front desk was rude and unprofessional. We arrived on time for a booked appointment, completed all forms, and provided insurance information, only to wait 20 minutes past our scheduled time.... read more
Avoid Embrey Mill Urgent Care if possible. I scheduled a sports physical for my 15-year-old son and was told we needed to be enrolled in TriCare East—implying they would bill our insurance. However, upon arrival, I was informed the visit would cost $50 out of pocket. When I asked if TriCare would be billed, the answer was no. When I questioned why TriCare enrollment was even required if I was paying out of pocket, the staff suddenly changed the appointment to an annual physical so it could be billed through TriCare and avoid... read more
2.5 stars. Pam, Leimary, and Kendall at EMPUC are all excellent. When it was just them, the place was A++++. However, this location recently combined with Dr Khan's other location, Garrisonville Urgent Care. The front desk staff now are pretty tough to deal with - you can call three or four times and get absolutely no answers. When they promise a call back, none is forthcoming. Test results are not sent out same day. And I also strongly dislike Dr Khan; while his bedside manner at first seems great, he offers no answers and ... read more
Dr. Khan is an exceptional doctor. His works overtime to take care of his patients. He treats all that come through his doors like dear friends. I don't want to go anywhere else.
