I arrived early for foster parent training and overheard staffers talking about how disappointing it was that two of their parents had decided to adopt the kids they were fostering. I approached them about it later and they said "losing" a family hurts their bottom line as a business. The tone of this conversation was so gross, I never went back.

If you feel like your household is boring and unexciting? Do you have an extra bedroom that you need to fill? or did you bought a van but only have a family of 4? Maybe try adding a foster kid? Embrace will give you training on how to be a parent. I already have 2 kids so I mastered that already but they get you to stay in the classes with tasty food. My family was at a local event and Embrace had a tent up. I stopped and spoke with the representative. About a month later, my husband and I made the call... Leroy came out and we joked that he's the gate keeper, have to get past him to get accepted to the next stage. Don't let his fear of dogs deter you, he is super friendly and delivers gifts.
