1) The floor was very dirty as clients are allowed to bring outside shoes inside. It should be an outside shoe free zone and clients should be ask to provide or provided with inside shoes 2) way too loud, if you are used to real European style sauna or Japanese baths this place is not for you 3) the sauna in itself smelled like piss at the bottom level 4) not relaxing at all Price is obviously cheap so if you dont mind those 4 points, you’ll like it. All in all, nothing compared to watershed spa !
Saunas are actually HOT. Custom cold plunge setup hits perfect. Amazing sanctuary I will be back! Also the staff was cool and helpful!
It’s great but crowded in the evenings. Parking can be a challenge but usually not a problem if you’re ok with a five minute walk. Three separate saunas one quiet one. No need to bring a lock - they have lockers where you can set a pin. Wish they had a bathing suit drying machine and I also wouldn’t mind a separate sauna that does just dry heat. People are constantly steaming up the rooms. When oh when will one open in St. Paul?
The community that supports them is great. The prices are very affordable. The sauna rooms are usually hot (above 200 degrees), and it’s great that that one of their rooms is meant to be quiet too. The biggest complaint though is that, if you’re serious about the cold plunge aspect of the experience, the water temperature of the cold plunge isn’t consistent at all. The cold water temperature is advertised at being around 40 degrees, but it is often in the high 40’s and regularly in the mid-50’s. That makes a huge difference ... read more
