Very rude front reception staff. We switched hotels.
I booked a nonrefundable room over two months priors to my stay. When we were checking in a little delayed bc of a horrific travel day, the girl told us the hotel was oversold and we had to figure something else out. My parents were also staying here and the guy checking them in said that my room was already assigned, so someone clearly messed up and nothing was done to rectify the situation. We ended up sleeping on the small pullout in my parents room bc it was 1am and desperate for sleep.
Great stay. Chauncey is very Polite and helpful. 3/9/26 Chauncey is still around and more helpful than ever. Embassy needs to take good care of her. Also the breakfast and bar food isn't too bad if you are around long enough.
We recently reserved and used a small conference room at this Embassy Suites. It wasn’t inexpensive but they failed to tell us that they charge $30 for parking. Essentially, the room for 30 cost $1000 and this doubled the price of reserving the room. When we asked to speak with the sales representative at this hotel, the front desk attendant attempted to contact the hotel sales representative. Absolutely horrible experience at the Embassy Suites by Hilton The Woodlands at Hughes Landing. When we arrived, we were told there was some kind of system outage affecting check-ins in The Woodlands. However, every other business around Hughes Landing appeared to be operating completely normally. Restaurants and other establishments nearby had no issues at all, yet this hotel seemed completely unprepared to deal with the situation.
