I have stayed at many at Embassy’s and always look forward to a peaceful & relaxing stay. However, the LOUD Embassy strikers demonstrating in front of the hotel made our stay truly miserable. Beautiful designed hotel, with restaurant. Staff are very friendly and kind!
I simply met up wit someone there for a safe Facebook marketplace exchange, and the security escorted me off the premises like some criminal. Based on that alone, with the security knowing it's a shady neighborhood put me in danger and I wouldn't pay a dime to stay there. I hope corporate sees this. It was possibly an Indian man. Not native American but Indian.
If you’re going to stay here right now, Hope you don’t want to sleep in past 7am. The workers on strike will wake you at 7 am sharp and won’t stop for hours. Everything else about this hotel is great but I really find it shady and dishonest that Embassy Suites Seattle didn’t at least let me know beforehand about this situation and how it would affect my stay. Unacceptable! Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else!!! As other posters have mentioned, we were woken up every morning at 7 am by the protesters. It doesn't matter what floor you are on, you are not sleeping through it. It is incredibly loud! We had booked the hotel several months ago. The strike has been going on for weeks. The hotel should have contacted us ahead of time to inform us of the situation and offered a significant discount or the option to cancel.
