Do not book this hotel. . . If I could give this zero stars I would…we checked in to a room that was unclean, hot as hell, and smelled like mold. The vents were covered in mold, the a/c did not work, and the shower head looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. We immediately checked back out, were given a refund, and found another Hilton property down the street. It’s unbelievable that this property is attached to the brand.
There were some things that were kind of disappointing during our visit, which really stinks because we love Embassy Suites and try to stay in one whenever we travel. The beds are okay, but not as comfy as other Embassy Suites that we've stayed at. I'm not sure why, but perhaps the beds at this location are older?..? Overall, we still had a decent night of sleep, and our kids enjoyed their separate area. For me, though, the biggest issue I had/have was/is in the customer service during breakfast. We were only in town for one night and booked here so we wouldn’t have to drive back to Phoenix so late. I booked based on the name (I’m a Hilton girl). The hotel was fairly aged, which they can’t control, however I had concerns with cleanliness which is unacceptable. Our room had not been cleaned properly in quite some time (dirt and dust in corners of the bathroom, rust and maintenance issues throughout, live bugs on the counter spaces, and a very dirty sofa that I wouldn’t sit on).
