I stayed here with a few friends and this was easily the worst hotel experience I have ever had. Around 2 to 3 AM, while we were all completely asleep, we were woken up by an extremely loud and aggressive knock at the door. I opened it and there was a security guard standing there telling us we had a noise complaint and that we had already been warned. That was flat out not true. Arrived for a business trip...chose to try the newly renovated hotel after having a bad experience a couple of years ago. Service was much friendlier and inviting. John at the front desk was especially nice, so were the bartenders. The location is walking distance to everything downtown. The renovated floors are a great improvement, fresh and airy. The hotel gave us issues at every possible moment. From not allowing us to book a block of rooms, trying to DOUBLE the rate for the rooms a week before the wedding, not allowing us to check-in to our room until 4:00pm when our ceremony started at 4:30pm, and ultimately cancelling the courtesy shuttle due to us "not checking in soon enough", this hotel and it's staff are horrid.
