I am a mother of two and both my children attended the Jumpstart IOP program at Embark Newport Beach. I was referred to this facility after having been through another IOP program with a different company. And for the first time ever a therapist, Embark's Katheena Thirtle was able to get through to my older child. Embark has been the most transformative experience for our entire family. Mental health is so complex, especially for young kids in this new generation. The staff at Embark helped us all understand one another at the deepest level, creating a sense of safety our family has never felt before, which allowed us to navigate the trauma alongside our child. The team at Embark is warm and welcoming and as parents, we felt understood and accepted. Our family therapist, Kathy, was very knowledgeable, understanding and a great resource for our family. I would highly recommend!

We are really glad that we chose this program and that they also welcomed us and put all the effort into providing the nuanced treatment they did. Michael, Tiffany and Kathy, clinicians at this program, were caring and were skilled clinicians as well and I looked for many programs and this combination is not easy to find and so we are grateful for their care and I would chose this place for our child again for sure if we had to do it all over again.

Embark has been the most unexpected blessing of my life. All the staff here go above and beyond for their clients. You are treated with such respect and equality and acceptance. I would recommend embark to anyone who is open to the help they offer. Thank you for everything, I can confidently say Embark has helped me grow more than I could imagine.
