My 12 year old son thrived in this program. The entire staff supported him (and me) at a time that was scary and overwhelming.
My 13yo child required a very specific environment to address their challenges - flexible, compassionate, affirming, nurturing, and patient. My son just completed partial care here at Livingston. They are a newer facility and so not too many people are aware of them as an option for their adolescent. When we were going through the process of finding the right care for him (during a very critical time of need) we knew immediately. The facility is beautiful, clean and bright (my son mentioned another place that we were interviewing initially with as "depressing" and Embark is not). We are very happy with Embark. The staff and support have been amazing for our family member. We would highly recommend them . The only downfall was the driving back and forth. I wish they would help transportation.
