My therapist was amazing and the community was delightful.
Fraudulent charges made on my credit card for over $2000. The intake person prior to signing up with Embark had assured me that after I've met my deductible (which I paid in full at the beginning) there would be no other payment. Indeed, my insurance paid them in full for all services. However, toward the end of the program, Embark charged my credit card. If you have a strict schedule and cannot free up all your time... DO NOT GO HERE! I was told insurance would allow me to come late as my schedule was filling up. Missed sessions are hundreds of dollars, and they discharged me and left me with $1,100+ "fines for being late." After emailing back and forth, they threatened to send me to collections. Unbelievable.
I know my son was safe, that’s the only positive I will give them. They lied about what there program was, sold me on an educational component that didn’t actually exist and swore their care was customized when it was scripted and not at all appropriate for my son. They then told my it would cost me price and I was billed at a rate that double what was expected. I was told my insurance covered this program, evidently not as much as I understood.
