Scheduled for appointment at Emanuel for 5:30am, only to be informed I wasn't on the schedule? Long story short, the physician's office goofed, per insurance company, thus not following through professionally.
Went to the ER with an ugly looking ankle. Head Nurse Candace was amazing as was the rest of the staff. Thank you for your patience and kindness.
We arrived at 10:40 PM and were not properly attended to for almost two hours. The staff was rude, unprofessional, and made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. It honestly felt discriminatory and disrespectful. The only person who was kind and helpful was a young woman named Summer. She was the reason we decided to stay, but unfortunately her shift ended around 1:30 AM. After she left, the service became even worse. If i could give this hospital zero stars I would. First of all the stuff is very unprofessional and very unorganized. I went in due to severe pelvic pain and they took my vitals and asked for my symptoms and told me it’s just a “pulled muscle” and discharged me with pain medication. The next day my pain was so unbearable I decided to go to Doctors hospital in modesto when there they had told me I had not one but two ovarian cyst one the size of a football, which then I had been rushed to emergency surgery.
