I went to see this “Dr.” on Jan 30th 2026 with concerns of leukemia with my 3 year old son, i informed This provider that he has had several illnesses since November, low blood counts, fatigue, abnormal ct, and specifically asked for him to be tested for this, as a parent sometimes you just have a gut feeling, this provider went odd labs from December and prescribed iron supplements without even checking lab work, told us to wait a month then we could revisit the testing, Feb 5th 2026 he started running a fever yet again and... read more
My young adult child went to see Dr. Broussard for a physical check up for the first time, and I was appalled to know that she did not do a good job. She did not ask her anything much during the visit. All information was volunteered. I think that she did not get to know my daughter and attend to her needs appropriately. When choosing a pediatrician we wanted to ensure we found one who was LGBTQ friendly and Dr Broussard was listed as so on Dukes website. We started at a different pediatrician in Raleigh and switched due to some issues. Honestly, if she ends up leaving Duke Heritage we will probably follow her! I’m not sure where the reviews are coming from that state she did not listen about a child’s medical history. She is always very attentive and even let me know she did some independent research regarding a rare genetic condition my da... read more
All four of my children recently had their first appointment with their new pediatrician Dr. Broussard. She was attentive, listened to my concerns & my children's. I also like how age appropriate she was when speaking to my kids [age range 4-15]. She was quick to follow-up electronically & made us feel at ease.
