I am writing this review to express my frustration with my recent experience at ElysiuMassage. I had scheduled a massage for 6:30 pm, only to find out through an email that my appointment was changed to 6:00 pm without my prior knowledge. Due to my work schedule, I was unable to check my email until shortly before my appointment, which led to some confusion on my part. Super disappointed. Ben had never heard of a medical massage prescription so I spent the first 10 minutes of my massage educating him and him trying to figure out what to charge me. He did not read my intake paperwork and when I told him my condition he was concerned because he didn't want to make things "worse." The massage consisted of him asking me if spots were tender a lot. He ended the massage saying "I can no longer legally work on you..." even though we started 15 minutes late.

I booked for an hour Swedish massage with Ben. I was so disappointed that he only massaged my upper body (neck, shoulders, and arms. I don't know if he did it intentionally, but he asked me to get undressed in my own comfort level, so i did take off my shirt and pants, thinking that he was aware of what i booked.
