Cool Location! – always hang out by Green Lake! If I'm not at Leny's I go to Tangle Town! Love this area a lot! It makes me happy to hang out with all of my friends in a cool place like this

DON'T GO – Three of us went on a monday afternoon, it was pretty empty. They were out of at least 5 items on the menu. The food took about 25 minutes to arrive. My father had a flank steak with a salad. His plate had about four or five small strips of over cooked steak. It looked like a joke, we asked our very nice waitress if they accidently gave him half of an order and she said that is how it comes. The steak came with a head of iceberg lettuce cut in half and drenched in dressing. It was almost offensive. I had a bland v... read more

Best Seattle Neighborhood Hangout – Since we first moved to the neighborhood a few years ago, TangleTown bartenders (and local patrons) have always greeted us with open arms. Food is much more than your average pub fare. Fantastic service and delicious brews all in a perfect setting.

Seasonal ales are the best – Jasmine IPA gets me through the summer, I get so excited every fall when it's time for pumpkin ale, and then every winter when they roll out their dark brews. The rest of the beers are good, but the seasonal ones take the cake. You can get Elysian beer in stores, but it never compares to getting it on tap at one of their breweries. The food is average, the atmosphere is a little strange and disorienting (it doesn't seem complete somehow, like they never finished a remodel) but the beer's definite... read more

This pub serves up homemade brews and stellar food with an emphasis on family. – The Scene Created by the owners of Capitol Hill's popular Elysian Brewing Company, TangleTown is the Elysian for the suburban crowd. Laid-back locals, many with children in tow, fill the wooden tables of this family-friendly brewpub. The space, which formerly housed the Honey Bear Bakery, includes an open, sunlit dining area, a behind-the-scenes brewery and a bar on the upper level. The Draw Named after the jumble of streets crisscrossing its lo... read more

Great food, Awesome Bartenders! – I had a chicken sandwich and the tomato basil soup-both were excellent, my date had the pulled pork dish. She was a bit suprised when it came out as a soupy dish- but loved it anyways! The service was fast AND funny- she had our table laughing the whole way through our meal. Their IPA is one of my favorites- crisp and hoppy. We will definately return.

I guess they don't want customers... – 12 people. $260 tab. Not a busy evening and they complain to us for having too many people and for dividing the bill between $110 cash and 3 credit cards. What a joke. Not a good way to encourage people to return. We left thinking - "Do they want our money or not?" and "Are they trying to drive away customers?" 3 credit cards across 12 people did not seem excessive to us. Food and drinks were fine but we are unlikely to return because of this bizarre attitude.

Are you kidding me? – This place is great! I'm surpised that so many people can navigate their way to/through tangletown to keep this place packed and busy late into the weekday evenings. Although it still seems family friendly in the early evenings, it's nice to see that the chess and checker boards have been put away and the candles lit when the sun goes down to create a hip little bar and restaurant. Now if I can only find my way back out...

Elysian Tangletown. A Great Neighborhood Bar – The Elysian Tangletown is surely a great neighborhood bar, as it has all of the elements you would hope for in a quality establishment. The service is prompt, the food is great, and the beer...oh the beer! The Tangletown also has rotating cask pours which are truly what great beer is all about. You're certain to be surrounded by smiling patrons and staff making you feel not only welcome, but truly part of this great establishment.
