I’m new to the area and finding a good stylist is almost as hard as finding a good doctor. My first attempt was at another salon and was a disaster. I’m so glad I found Elysian and Bettye. She listens! And is very skilled. My hair looks great. Even my boyfriend who is often oblivious to my haircut, mentioned SEVERAL times how much he likes my hair. Winner!
Great Salon! Kyla is great for nails, color and cuts.
Very friendly environment, but I spent $100 on a perm and the rods were loose and not tight so I didn't get a full body perm. Then I was charge $51 for a haircut that took less than 5 minutes and it was sloppily done. I have been getting perms for many years and this was by far the worst. I have never had to pay for a haircut after a perm. $51 for a shampoo haircut - the shampoo was part of the perm not the haircut. What a rip off. Will be looking for another place.
I take my daughter to see Betty regularly. We love the atmosphere of the salon and how friendly all the staff are. But we are most impressed by Betty's personal skills when it comes to the high demands that my daughter makes for her hair. Time and time again, she blows our minds!
