Excellent Family Practitioner Dr. Elvove and staff are excellent. I was referred to him during my pregnancy: I'd been going to a OBGYN in Deerfield who told me I was only allowed to ask 3 questions per visit so as not to "overwhelm" myself. He delivered both my children, and I couldn't have had better experiences both times. Wonderful at home birthing team I had a wonderful experience with the birth of my second son with doctor Elvove and his midwife Kathy. However when my third son was born Dr. Elvove went on vacation and I was left with a fill in doctor who seemed very distracted. But Kathy was there and she is a very practical and experienced midwife. Took charge and I gave birth to a 10 lb baby boy. When it comes to prenatal care and home births Dr. Elvove is the best.
