I WOULD ATTEND CLASS WITH HER,NEUTRALIZE GLASSES FOR MISSION TRIPS,WORK IN OPTICAL LABS,WORK AS AN OPTOMETRIC TECHNICIAN,ETC. MY STEPFATHER(DR. FRANK B. DAY) ALSO CAME FROM A FAMILY OF OPTOMETRISTS, HIS GRANDFATHER HELD THE NUMBER 1 LICENSE IN NORTH CAROLINA. DURING UNDERGRADUATE I PARTICIPATED IN RESEARCH ON RETINAL CELL REGENERATION(EARLY STEM CELL )

great dr. never had someone who cares so much about his patients and there eye care.
Dr. Smith is an excellent doctor. I especially like the way he takes times with a patient and listens carefully to his or her thoughts.
He was very caring to my child and he made her feel comfortable. She has difficulty with doctors. And Dr. Smith and his team made the experience wonderful!!!!! Thank you so so much!!
I would recommend Dr. Smith to anyone. Around thanksgiving of 2014, I went to Dr. Smith because it felt like something was in my eye and I couldn't get it out. He told me it was either a mole or a tumor and that I had some leakage maybe from a retinal tear. I followed up with Carolina Eye who confirmed I had a tumor and was then sent to Duke for melanoma in my eye. I did see someone for a second opinion but his diagnosis was not sure. Dr. Smith is the hero in my eyes!
He is a great doctor and he saved my life. He found Fluid on my brain that no other doctor or hospital could find he is amazing person thanks
