I am very happy with choosing Elton Black and Son funeral home for my husband’s funeral. They were so comforting and put a lot of care into his service. Their staff was wonderful and our family was taken care of during the whole process. It made a difficult time less difficult. I would recommend them highly.

We worked with Charlie at the Union Lake location and were very impressed with his professional yet kind and considerate support. He was very thorough the day we first met while reviewing our options, never any pressure. Charlie continued to coordinate the military burial at Great Lakes and kept us informed throughout, always available to us and timely. Day of, Charlie handled everything and was exceptionally kind in assisting my wheelchair bound sister (the widow). In short, he was awesome.

Everyone at the Elton Black funeral home is very patient, comforting and understanding. Charlie Oliver is the consummate director, very impressive. He strikes the perfect tone for a family going through grief, shared all of the options available, and wrote one fantastic obituary for our mom. We received so many compliments from friends and family. I highly recommend Elton Black!
