After a year of waiting for David to finish our floors, I have given up hope. I lost track of how many times he gave us specific times that he would be here to finish his work and did not call or show up...easily a dozen times. Our contract included shoe molding installation/finishing and replacement of wood that was damaged by years of moisture. He did not do these. Elston Hardwood Flooring has to be one of, if not the least, professional contractors I've ever hired. David took three weeks longer to complete the job (which is still technically incomplete) than he originally said the job would take and even after all the delays the flooring wasn't even properly installed. Boards are coming up off the floor, there are large gaps between the boards, the shoe molding was cut improperly, and upon "completion" of his work, there was glue all over the walls and floors.
