We listened to our hearts and made the decision to move Mom to Elsie's Place. We have never regretted that decision. For Gina, this is a labor of love...she hires staff who share that love and tenderness for people.Alzheimer's Disease has been called "The Long Good-bye". Elsie's Place is top notch!Theresa A. 5 Elsie's PlaceAs a home health RN, I often have clients who are in assisted living or family care facilities. This facility has approximately 5 residents. It is more than adequately staffed. The staff are very compassionate and caring, and the owner treats each and every resident as if they were family. Seeing the wonderful care that this business provides for their residents is encouraging and sets an excellent example of how our elderly with health problems should be treated.

All of our physicians feel that the family care home is an excellent long term care option... an attractive, more home-like alternative to a larger assisted living facility. We've provided on-site medical care to residents of Elsie's Place since its inception, so we're very familiar with the staff and how they care for their residents. We also provide on-site physician services in over 35 senior communities throughout the Triangle, so we're very familiar with what's available elsewhere.
