Excellent doctor, took her time to answer all my questions and followedup on everything. Very competent and surgery whent well. Highly recommend her.
This review is long overdue, but I wanted to be sure of my recovery before posting. Dr. Elsie Robertson was absolutely wonderful while I was under her care. I had previously been misdiagnosed with food poisoning by 2 Doctors out of state. Turns out, it was my appendix that ruptured leaving me septic and fighting for my life. Doctor Robinson mis-diagnosed my health issues. Not only that, but after she operated on me she wouldn't see me as i was getting worse each day. I had to go get another doctor's opinion out of my own pocket to validate i needed another CT Scan. Still Doctor Robinson wouldn't see me or approve my need for a CT Scan to see what's wrong with me. I first met Dr Robertson when I was admitted to Saddleback Memorial Hospital for a bowel obstruction. Two years post surgery from colon cancer left me with adhesions that caused the blockage. Dr Robertson explained my situation and the need to perform laparoscopic surgery to release the adhesions. She was clear that she wouldn’t know until she got into my intestinal area if a resection would be necessary as well. She also explained the fact that further surgery could cause more adhesions.
