I have only seen the PA, and she was very knowledgeable and kind. The front office staff has been rude with every interaction I’ve ever had with them. They scheduled me for a procedure 5 months out, but never told me or gave me instructions. I only found out when the hospital called 4 days beforehand. I can’t make that day work so they said I would need to wait 5-6 months for the next available date as the doctor only does procedures one day a month! Save yourself a lot of headaches and go elsewhere.
Dr. Elsakr is a very competent, caring, and compassionate doctor.

best gastroenterologist in town highly educated doesn't spend much time with patients in office unless requested pre & post-op took his time with questions & concerns
Dr. Elsakr Is very nice, very helpful, and always listens and takes his time. The place is so clean and safe, also the nurses are so sweet and helpful. I had an endoscopy done there and honestly did feel any pain or have any problems. I would definitely recommend both Dr. Elsakr and the surgery center.

In the 10 years I have gone to Dr. Elsakr, I have NEVER seen him at my appointments. I have only seen his physician's assistant or nurse practitioner. I have only seen the doctor briefly before a procedure. He does not listen to his patients and basically has treated me poorly. He has a wonderful office staff, however.
