I have been going to Dr. Pena for 13 years. Over the years, the practice has had its ups and downs, especially during times without consistent PAs or NPs when the doctor was often at the hospital. Despite that, I continued going because I’ve always valued Dr. Pena’s care. At one point, the clinic ran very smoothly again—scheduling was easy, wait times were reasonable, and either the doctor or a NP was available when needed. I want to start by saying Dr. Peña is amazing — truly kind, attentive, and great with my son. Unfortunately, the office management and scheduling are extremely disorganized, and it has become very frustrating as a parent. Back in February, I scheduled all of my son’s well-check appointments through his first year. They had two full months to notify me that his May appointment needed to be changed, yet no one ever called.
