This building is nothing to write home about. There is virtually no amenities, it is close to an intersection which brings in lots of dust from passing cars, also noise. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything through the walls and above you. The building has no amenities, no social area , no visitor's parking and the price for parking is outrageous. I had lived at the Elphin Apartments for 5 years. I had to move because the quality of the building has greatly declined when Ric and Jan left. The current building managers are unapproachable and cold. The only employee that is friendly and a hard worker is Martin. I saw that one reviewer stated that they never saw bedbugs or cockroaches. This is false. I know personally three apartments that has been infested with bedbugs. New students please beware. Don’t waste your money renting here. I have lived here for three years and I have loved living here. Many of the units have been renovated with new countertops, floors, and water-saving toilets. I have never seen or heard of any cockroaches, bedbugs or any other bugs. The building is well kept and clean -- including landscaping out front. Megan and Andrew (the superintendents/building managers) are wonderful and friendly and attentive. Martin, the caretaker, is great too. The price is right. All utilities are included.
