Very disappointing experience at Eloise. We waited over 90 minutes for our food, and when we asked about the delay, our server was rude and acted like the wait was completely normal. We ended up asking for a manager, but by then we just wanted to leave. To make matters worse, our separate checks were all mixed up. Could only seperate checks with 6 transactions which created a bottle neck in the process. Between the long wait, poor service, and lack of organization, I won't be coming back..
Great food and great ambiance, but the service here is what takes it to that fifth star! Our server Sage was exceptional throughout, with great wine recos, attention to detail, and all of her menu picks were the standout favs at our table.
I would highly recommend avoiding this place. The service at Eloise was absolutely terrible from start to finish. We waited over an hour and 30 minutes just for our food to come out. When we finally asked our waitress where our meals were, she completely brushed us off, told us that this was a "normal pace," and gave us a massive attitude the entire night. What an incredible find. The food was fantastic. Very creative, reasonably priced and so tasty!! Some of the best takes on oysters and carpaccio we’ve ever had. The lamb was superb as well as the bananas foster, done at the table. The service was equally outstanding. A beautiful restaurant with truly incredible and unique food. Everything we had was perfectly seasoned, elegantly plated, and really just delicious (the miso cod especially just floored us). Our server Connor was so kind and helpful. Such a great restaurant, absolutely worth the drive out to Wayzata.
