I lived at Elmwood Park in a 3 bedroom Town Home/Apartment for almost 33 years. I stayed at Elmwood Park because my children wanted to stay in the Waverly school district. All of my children are now adults, but still live with my daughter and son in-law. We moved because the market rent I paid for went from $883.00 per month to $1,029.00 and was told that all of Elmwood Park was to become section 8 and there would be a rise in crime.
