Great Food in a Small Town I admit it- I was a little worried when Sparks Cafe closed after about a million years in business. After all, it was my favorite place to get a big, cheap greasy breakfast. I am pleased to say, however, that the new Elmwood at Sparks is better than I dared expect it to be! I am a serious foodie and I love the food at Elmwood at Sparks. If you are looking for a quick lunch, their sandwiches are terrific with a side of fresh fruit. If you are in the mood for a really good evening meal, try dinner on Friday and Saturday nights. They are also open for brunch on Sunday and offer "dinner to go" on Wednesday nights. Try the specials- I had the best fried catfish of my life the other day. The cream of sage soup is to die for. It's a small restaurant in a small town, but worth checking out.
