My aunt is there and she loves it. She says "They are so good to me" Every time I have stopped by the staff have been wonderful.
Elms convalescent hospital is a for-profit warehouse for senior citizens. I have heard patient's request for nursing assistants lasting up to 45 minutes with no attempt being made to find out what they need. I soon learned that without family visits patients are not responded to. I have listened to staff make "jokes" about patients putting them on their wills. Patient rehabilitation has been an absolute joke. Having the patient respond or not respond to Sega Video games for exercise was considered successful rehabilitation. ... read more
