Was here for 2 weeks, got paperwork mixed, blamed my homesickness on anxiety to keep me there, drugged me up so bad I barely remember it. I still have nightmares and I’ve been out for 5 months. Staff were nice, doctors tried to force me to admit I had an eating disorder when I never have just because I’m naturally underweight. It was living hell
Circling the hallways back 2008 just to keep me from going insane inside there. I was very numb. Rooms had a window the size of a letter mailbox. Privileges were earned and if you expressed too much emotion you were stuck. During that time the only way out was to be well even when you were not.
I stayed here for 3 months in 2018 when I was 15 when I arrived I was not even woken up and was put in a room with my mother they basically put a prison tray in front of me with food on it the first day I was there a girl went absolutely ballistic and was threatening to harm me then a staff member that I knew of as Mr batman because of his voice was nice every once in awhile and then was rude for weeks on end then there was a guy we called Mr Dave and he was absolutely disrespectful in every manner possible I met very few st... read more
I stayed at EPC for a month back in 2022 when I was 14/15 years old. Upon arrival to EPC from a previous hospital I was at, I felt I had no idea what was going on except the fact I was losing my voice, the general respect everyone deserves, and any chance to feel happy. The whole place feels and looks like it should have been shut down years ago.
