Horrible experience — hidden charges for routine check-up Please don’t ever go to this place. They have hidden charges even for a simple routine health check-up. I went there because it was the closest in-network clinic under my insurance. I only went for my regular yearly check-up, nothing extra, but later I received a bill of $61.25. I have always received excellent care at this facility. From the nurses to the doctor.
I was very excited to establish care with a provider at this location. I found them through my insurance provider database and registered with my insurance card prior to my visit. The front desk told me that my insurance was great and there would be no problems. The doctor actually joked “you have BCBS PPO… they cover everything!” Having not been to a doctor in years and not always having the best insurance, I was extremely excited to finally take care of my health. The company will not email me an itemized receipt to submit to my FSA. They told me I have to wait 7 to 10 business days for it to come via snail mail and who knows if what they send me is even correct. I’ve never dealt with itemized bills this way. Unfortunately, this is another health network that’s owned by a holding /equity company who puts profits over people. Waited 2 months for an apppokntment in Oak park. Handed them my BCBS card….” You don’t have an active policy”. An hour later after I was on hold with BCBS they figured out they had spelled my name wrong. I let the front desk know , they said the next appointment is 8 weeks from now. See you later !! They are the problem with healthcare in this country
