Elmer is so helpful! He fixed a bracelet for me and didn't even charge me because he already had the small part it needed. Now he's going to turn a pendant I inherited from a loved one into a ring. Great place!!
Elmer's is relatively new to me, used him only 4 times all for watch battery or new leather bands. My 4th and final time he put on a new band that broke the next day. I took it back and he yelled at me, that I was putting it on wrong. He did give me a new band for free but very unwilling to do so. Then he said that it is very difficult to repair broken watch bands. In my opinion he should not repair it, but send it back to where he got it and get his money back. I felt like it might have been repaired once already before me.... read more

Not sure what happened to Elmer, but we won't be going back. We loved that he was in the neighborhood, very reasonable, and seemed to be a decent guy. But today he overcharged me by 3x without any warning or real excuse. We've been going to him for years for everything. We've had at least half a dozen rings sized there, watch bands and batteries, jewely repair, stones replaced, etc. 3 years ago, he charged $45 to resize a ring. Several times since, $45.
