Thanks for all the help! Just returned to Ellis after trying a move in with boyfriend--which ended poorly! Ellis helped in a pinch and super quickly got me into an apartment with NO hassle! I'm so relieved and feel thankful I had them to fall back on! Moved into a totally different building than last year but equally happy and impressed! Thanks guys!
Good experience Great apartment options. Great prices. We looked at older apartments with lots of character and brand new apartments which were lovely. Staff was super nice and helpful.
Great experience My girlfriend found these guys through a waitress on the plaza. We both work on the plaza and moved into a cool old apartment building off 39th street. The girlfriend loves the hardwoods and balcony and I like that they haven't raised our rent in 3yrs! I recommend them to anyone--maintenance gets things done fast especially emergencies--I've seen Mellisa be a hard ass but she is always nice to us and if you need to be late with rent she's cool as hell. Great apartments & people! I couldn't believe there were bad reviews for Ellis Real Estate! We've lived with Ellis for over 5yrs and ever since Bob Ellis sold it and they got rid of the maintenance guy in the yellow van EVERYTHING HAS BEEN GREAT! Sometimes it is hard to get ahold of people in the office but when you go to the office you see there's only two staff which is why. Satisfied Renter Ellis Real Estate manages several properties around the Kansas City area, and the people there are what make it a quality business. They worked with me to show me apartments on my schedule, and they made sure that all of my questions and concerns were answered. On top of everything, their properties are affordable and very charming... I am living in one of their apartments now!
Starr James P - Ellis Real Estate is unsatisfactory Apparently having great credit, rental history, and the financial means to rent a property from Ellis Real Estate is not enough to actually rent a property from them. Getting them to meet with you to show you a property is a challenge. NEVER AGAIN..... I don't know what alternate universe katie p. is living on, because in the real world Ellis Real Estate is not all it's cracked up to be! IT WAS AN ABSOLUTE TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. period. I will never rent or encourage anyone to rent from Ellis Real Estate for their lack of professionalism and care for their tenants!
