This hospital is a joke. They pay their doctors far below the national average for their field of medicine. I was treated in their ear nose and throat department, by Diana Page. I started off with a sinus infection, I fired her and left with an incurable gram negative infection. I suffer from insomnia, high blood pressure, severe pulsating headaches, and irritability because of this disease every day of my life. Go to a different hospital.
Went to this place for an injured foot, unfortunately that wasn’t the concentration of my visit once I provided my medication list. They put a focus on my mental health instead of my foot. A nurse came in and gave me a shoe for my foot but didn’t explain how long to wear it and the doctor didn’t come back into the room without being requested. I felt like something was wrong so I went to the orthopedic where I was informed that my foot is actually broken in multiple places. I will not be returning to Ellis medical center.

The attending physician supervising the residents teaches them to treat patients like billable events instead of people and determines what your care is from outside the room. The resident learning doctor you will be seeing has little say in your treatment unless it's something that you could figure out yourself on Google. Do not come here unless you are an extremely uncomplicated patient or you will receive substandard medical care due to hospital policy. You will be waiting over an hour to be seen on most days.
