Absolutely horrible company to rent from. I was charged for “damages” that are not real. Totaling over $2500. I was told to get a carpet cleaning prior to move out; did it, then got charged AGAIN. Complete fraud. Never in my 20 years of rental history have I been charged so much for 6 months of residence at a home. Touch up paint on walls totaling $1200? The home was supposed to be painted prior to us moving in and it never was! I have proof of all of this. This company is very fraudulent.
If I could give zero stars I would. It is currently 33 outside with snow on the ground and the furnace will not turn on. Called the maintenance line and got hung up on 3 times. Finally talked to someone and she had a very nasty attitude. At this point who knows when we'll get service. VERY bad first impression.
We just signed on with them to manage several rental properties in Coppell for us. They have been very responsive to calls, emails, and texts and are knowledgeable. I think we made the right choice.
Ellis Home Source took over management of my two rentals in Coppell less than a year ago and they have really gone above and beyond! I only hear from them when I need to but I can call them anytime I have a question or issue. I appreciate their communication, honesty and dedication to the owners. Now I feel like I don't even have to worry about these two houses. I can focus on my current rental projects and my job.
