I would not recommend Ellis Home Inspections. Hired them to inspect my home that I bought the roof was supposed to be inspected and per his report it was but less than 5 months had a leak. Had a roofing company inspection, rotten wood, no metal flashing, ridge vent no end caps, ridge vent not even connected to the house, water has been getting under the shingles for a long time has moss growing badly on it. I have been e-mailing back and forth with Ms. ******** My inspection report stated in bold red that the roof had deteriorated shingles and was nearing the end of its life expectancy. I also stated that she would likely have to replace this roof within the next 2 to 3 years ( also in red). The 2-3 year time frame is the maximum life that I reported that the roof would have left in it. Seven months is within the next 2 to 3 years.
