Very unprofessional and judgmental. She is not a good therapist. she only cares about getting paid. She didn’t listen to anything we talked about but rather interrupted us to serve her own agenda. I would never recommend her to anyone.
Dr Ellis was recommended by my childs pediatrician for ADHD testing. During these visits Dr Ellis once stated that "people are now getting their children diagnosed with ADHD for vanity". Dr Ellis did recommend that my son receive medication but when I asked how that worked, would she write the script or would I have to go through his pediatrician? Horrible! We were trying to schedule an appointment for my daughter. I thought she was working with me, because my daughter had ballet event coming up. Not the case. We needed to reschedule because I got the dates mixed up. I wish I could let you hear the message she left on my phone. She was very unprofessional. I gave over 24 hours notice and she left the most degrading message I had ever heard from a doctor. She questioned my parenting, blamed me for her loosing customers. She went on and on. We approached Ellis (Phd) about providing a clinical review help prior to a divorce. We thought she would provide a balance between legal and clinical. Well, we were extremely frustrated after multiple months of false billing and unnecessary visits for repeated interviews and excuses about delays. Ellis produced 30 hours of alleged billing for investigating and report for 3 hours of interviews. Dr Ellis’ office is on Pleasant Hill Road between a car wash and a strip mall. We were patients of Dr Ellis for several months as we were trying to decide on a divorce. Our goal was to either separate amendable or work through our issues. My wife suffers from mental issues including severe depression, thyroid and mood swings. I had enough after several accidents, cosmetic surgery, claims someone stole her jewelry or was stalking. It does not help that my wife refuses to take medication because it makes her feel guilty. Excellent listerner, insightful evaluator. Gives options and insights, but continues to modify her process based upon the response and needs of the patient.
