Wow just wow! This guy is a complete hack. Did an appraisal on my property. Under value it by about 15k, even though comps with the same size and worse finishes in my neighborhood are selling for more. Lost the sale thanks to his appraisal. Even after challenging the appraisal he didn't even want to entertain a challenge. I will remember the name and not use or refer him to anyone,
He did a horrible job on our appraisal. We have a brand new house and we're doing a HELOC. Even though there are over 8 new houses to do comps with in our neighborhood, he comped with houses in the neighborhood next door! We have a 70' lot, 6 bedrooms, 6 bath, over 4800 sq. ft. He comped with houses that were 50' lots, shingle roofs, and much older. His appraisal came in well under what we paid for the house!
