I Known Elliot for a long time He came a long way he works on my mako cc for years He has does yearly carb full takedown on my twins / cleaning and upgraded my electronics He knows every part and piece and how they work and why they don't work and need a repair He is a extremely knowledgeable mechanic
I would give this place 0 stars if possible. Have had my Whaler there for weeks to fix a vibrating problem with Yamaha 50. Got it back and it was leaking oil. Gave it back to them to check it. Did this 3x. Finally got the boat back and went elsewhere. They don't respond to their vmail and definitely don't return phone calls. And apparently after getting so fed up with this went up to the shop to get our boat, and found out they are shutting down!!! Terrible business.
I recently bought a used boat and visited Elliot Marine Services to ask about repair rates. When I greeted the owner, he responded with hostility and made me feel unwelcome. During the interaction he appeared visibly uncomfortable and reacted in a way that felt discriminatory toward me as a Black customer. I kept the conversation cordial but left feeling highly upset and discriminated against. Elliott and his team are great to work with. They provide timely repairs at a reasonable price! Highly Recommend!
Just got our new to us boat back. It has a 1996 50hp evinrude, they went through motor from ignition, to cooling, and foot oil to ensure it was in tip top shape. The repairs were made in a reasonable time and runs great. Thanks for the excellent service and quality work.
