Hammers Hardware This is a good hardware store to go in quick and get what you need. It doesn't have the huge selection that Lowes or Home Depot have and the hours are not as good but it is convenient and has mostly what you need.
Elliott's Hardware Store in Mesquite Excellent customer service with a small town feeling. I highly recommend this store because it is small enough to give the personal touch yet filled with almost anything you may be needing.
Great place for loose nuts and bolts The only place in town where you can buy a single screw, nut, washer or bolt. It is really nice that you can take your part with you to match the fasteners without having to guess at what's inside a shrink wrapped package. Lowes and Home Depot carry 95% of what you need. For the other 5%, I usually go to Elliott's.
Mike L. Hammer Hardware has done several lawn equipment repaires for me in the past with exceptional service and quality workmanship due in part to the great job James in the service dept does. He really knows his stuff. However. . . ..Elliots has had my riding lawn tractor for over two weeks and after me calling them 3 times I have yet to get a call back regarding the cost of the repairs needed. Perfect for those little fixes We have been here several times to just grab that one piece that we forgot, or if we need something for a wuick fix They always have just what we need. Great little around the corner store!!
Unhappy Customer Elliott's Hardware is a great place to find special parts and hardware. I would not recommend their equipment service department. With several pieces of equipment (Mower & Chainsaw) I had to wait a month, to get them back, and I still had the same original problems. The chainsaw was serviced 3 times. Each time they had it for a month. After the third time I decided to go somewhere else. I think their service tech's are not qualified to work on lawn equipment!
Quick & friendly Good location, easy to get in and out of the parking lot, decent selection of merchandise, a little higher in price on some things but the friendly, quickly available staff are worth it!
The hardware store with everything If you can't find what you need here, they will order it for you. A little higher than some other competitors but the friendly service, easy parking and knowledgeable salesmen make up for the difference. Check out their items at Christmas and birthday time.
Hardware store When you need a hardware store that carries good quality parts or equipment and tools, go to Elliott's. They almost always have the hard to find parts that the huge building supply stores don't have. You don't have to buy a box of 100 either when you only need one or two.
