There is good. There is the Best. Elliot Tire in Mt. Vernon is the Best. I have been taking my car here for a long time (I wish I had found it sooner -- I would have saved a lot of money). I have always gotten more than I asked for-- at less than I expected to pay. I don't think there is anything they don't know about the automotive world, and it has always worked to my advantage. They are smart, caring, and totally honest. I recommend them without reservation.
Professional – Such a pleasant surprise! I made an appointment for a set of new tires for the following day at 9:00 a.m. Went in and there were two guys working and two customers. I waited for about 3 minutes and an employee from garage came in and greeted me with a smile. He said he just needed my keys and that he'd get started w/ installing my new tires. They know what they're doing. Edward helped me out today with mounting a couple of tires and swapping out my spare. What I was asking was pretty complicated, but he got it right. In addition the technician diagnosed three bad tpms valves and replaced them. My total price including the tpms valves and switching a good tire to my spare was about what I was quoted for just the two tires at many other shops. I've found my new tire shop!
Nice to have the little pressure to buy and free reign in the store. Great work with Elliot.
