My wife and I looked for a whole year before picking Elliott Homes as a builder. Their quality policy is to have people sign a piece of paper that states that the granite counter tops may have inclusions, but upon inspection of the granite it is horrible. I cannot show our home to anyone due to the counter tops. In bringing this problem to Elliott homes their only response is "they are within standards". I provided a $500.00 dollar lot hold on lot 14 that was recently framed, new home in an Elliot home development, Avalon Estates, Avondale, AZ 85392. I was told a day later by Jim D******l, a Sales Counselor, that the home would not work out. I was told that I had to choose another one of their available homes. I was criticized by Jim D******l for not buying a home earlier. I believe this behavior is discourteous, unethical and disreputable.
